I’ve picked up a #7 and #8 equivalent wood planes recently. I love them. They’re over 100 years old and definitely one of the best tools I have at my disposal. They are stupid heavy, however. Much heavier than a Stanley / Bailey #7 or 8. They do make quick work of flattening wood though.

It’s not terrible. It is heavy, but not quite heavy enough, imho. When planing hardwoods, it racks like crazy. It could just be mine, who knows. It is useful, with the exception of the top two drawers. They WILL fill with sawdust / shavings. There’s no way around it unless you plug up all the holes (which defeats the

Oh hell yes. Though maybe swap in a “stock” exhaust with cutouts to swap from granny mode, to straight pipe. A couple of turbos or a blower, and huge sleeper, for short money. NP.

Same here.

Nope.

I didn’t... And the 1939 Crosley sold a hell of a lot less than 90% of this list. Oh well what are you going to do?

The craptastic wheels don’t come with it? Good.

My father-in-law has a manual grand vitara.

I’ve had the “Tire Pressure Monitor System Fault” BS in my wife’s Mercury all winter. It’s the stupidest system under the sun. No way am I paying for another set of sensors for winter tires. I’ll deal with the stupid light on the dash.

They don’t show anything near me either, yet I have an awesome hardwood dealer about 5 minutes from my work (10 minutes from home). It’s crazy how much cheaper (and higher quality) the wood there is compared to the local Lowes. I hardly have to plane or joint my purchases from my local dealer. My BIL is a manager for

I was told by a service writer at the semi-local VW dealer where I bought my car that the remote fob didn’t have batteries, it just works a certain number of times then you have to buy a new one (at $130). I said, “really?!? I’m pretty sure there has to be some sort of power going to the fob.” She assures me that

That’s how I usually head in coming from CT. Either that or Saw Mill River Pkwy and suck up the one toll.

Voyager. I’ve got kids. Any time you can threaten to leave them on the side of the road and actually follow through = priceless.

Please do, because that’s news to me. It’s not really RWS though.

Um... No.

Amen.

So he wants a Ferrari Testarossa? Better plan: Burn down your house, rebuild said house, use the money you get to refurnish your house on said Ferrari. Have your kids sleep on air mattresses and buy all your other furniture from Salvation Army and/or 5 below.

Oh please (speaking for the 1.8t). Other than timing belt changes ($1k with water pump, pulleys, etc. if you don’t do it yourself), everything is easy. Oil changes every 10k with a super easy to get to filter and pan plugs. Sure the inevitable leaking coolant sensor is a bitch to replace, but it’s not expensive.
