No argument with your statement. I agree completely. Obesity plus kids is bad.
What is a 'fattie' and who determines the parameters?
For the love of all things sacred, please stop using the word "fatty" and expect people to take you seriously.
I'm so glad I can cross APPEAL TO IGNORANCE off of my "COMMENTER FALLACY BINGO CARD" now.
PETA is a horrible organization but for some reason this doesn't really bother me? I think kids should know where meat comes from.
On the bright side for them, I can totally see some of those children growing up to be vegan monsters who will tell everyone that'll listen about that fateful day they learned what "A Cow's Life" really meant.
Oh, sweet Jesus. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, raised by vegetarians, and there really isn't any need to resort to scare tactics when it comes to young children. Their parents won't be any more swayed by graphic images than I was by graphic images of aborted fetuses being paraded around outside the gym in college. Yep,…
Vegetarian, but I'll take it all the same! :)
Pause for a second. Who employed the idea of teaching children about dairy farming? I wonder if the way in which the Dairy Industry is actually run is being represented - or are they simply being shown a beautiful cow and how the milking of said cow isn't harming it? I do not believe that what PETA did was in any way…
I love you and would like to split a vegan cinnamon roll with you.
Most children love animals and have no idea how we treat them to get our food. That said, PETA is always a bit heavy-handed.
"The children were traumatized by these pamphlets on the same day that a baby cow was on campus as part of a lesson on dairy farming."
I was with you until "vegan monsters." I don't know any vegans or vegetarians who support PETA. It's a terrible organization.
