Someone pointed that out in the comments and they’re even in the header image. I couldn’t see shit streaming on my old TV, so I definitely missed some key players during my first watch.

I’m right there with you. Any episode that makes me pause to take a breather and then shout at my TV (“HOLY FUCK ITS ARYA”) is pretty great. I know the darkness was frustrating for some, but it took all of two minutes to realize “oh they’re lighting every actual important moment, the darkness is to make the big battle

I loved it because a marriage with them would absolutely fit both of their arcs. Politically excellent choice, they both respect each other, Sansa is years beyond her age in maturity, and they genuinely like each other. If you also think about it, he treated her with the most respect and care of anyone who wasn’t

In retrospect it also makes perfect sense for the way Faceless Men work. Do you need to kill a powerful person surrounded by an unbeatable army? Bring in an assassin.

It wasn’t arbitrary at all.

I understand that it’s tempting to want more out of such mysterious characters - but they were never meant to be complicated. The Children created them as a last ditch effort to defeat man. They are simply a nuclear weapon that went awry.

I’d like to think that Sansa is old enough, and mature enough to see Tyrion for who he has become. On a personal level she knows she could do a heeeeeeeeelluva lot worse than him. On on a pragmatic level, she knows if they can kill Cersei, a Stark/Lannister union would be good for both houses, because she’s Lady of

I honestly think that all the theories, etc. are just a byproduct of The Internet trying to solve a puzzle that the show never even presented. They even showed the Night King’s birth three years ago (or whatever), and it still didn’t stop the HE’S BRAN or HE’S A TARGARYEN theories that had no basis in the narrative

I could see them being the more healthy version of Cersei and Robert, where they like and respect each other but don’t get resentful of them both fucking other people.

I feel like that’s more of a problem caused by the hype machine of internet fandoms/algorithms. (Ex: Snoke)

But it wasn’t after one episode. They’ve been fighting the Night King for years, essentially getting defeated at every turn. The Prologue, the Fist of the First Men, Hardhome, the mission to capture a wight, the tree of the Three Eyed Raven, the Wall, and now Winterfell.

we’re meant to believe just boils down to movie monsters and they want to mindlessly kill everyone because... good and evil

Honestly, I don’t see how this is weird. I guess she’s a classic beauty, so everyone expects her to pick no one or someone classically hot? Tryrion and Sansa are very similar people, and have a practical side. She’s only ever said good things about him. They’d be an unstoppable political force. GET IT GIRL.

It made sense to me, her saying he was the best of them. For someone who was brutalized the way she was, trust would be of paramount importance, and Tyrion never hurt her. I don’t have a preference of if they end up together, but it was a nice moment, and I liked that they took the time to give us that.

Yeah, I think if you go back and piece it all together, Bran carefully orchestrated a secret plan (secret because he could not trust everyone to execute it if he just explained it fully) in which the Night King, Arya, and the dagger would all end up at the same place at the same time, with the Night King feeling

As soon as Mel repeated Brown eyes, green eyes, blue eyes I knew exactly what was coming. I was actually surprised at how surprising everyone else found it. That dagger has been incredibly important in setting up people to where they are at this point- including being the catalyst for Cait’s trip south- Tyrion’s trip

Also didn’t the Hound teach her to stab an opponent between their armors plates? I may be wrong but it seemed like she got her blade between them

Ghost is treated so terribly on this show.

Now that the Night King is defeated can Jon actually spend 10 seconds to introduce Ghost to Dany, please?

Yeah, I’m betting the two get married by the end of the season, forming a Lannistark House. Tyrion is kind, and one of the most relatable characters in this epic and deserves a happy ending. Similarly, Sansa is no longer the spoiled or scared little girl who wanted a crown in season one; they’re both practical

I honestly enjoy that Arya is the one who saves the world. It feels like an arbitrary choice
