@misscaseyregrets- Agreed. I have a six year old and a three year old. The six year old is at an age where he understand privacy and personal time- he will leave me alone when I'm in the bathroom, but this wasn't always the case. When he was a toddler, he followed me everywhere- even to the bathroom. Doesn't help,

I actually (usually) really like Nicki but I have to agree with you- Missy Elliot did it better. Man, I miss Missy.

This is disappointing. I won't lie, I generally like Nicki Minaj. I really like (most of) her Pink Friday album (I find it's good to work out to), and I like her overall look. I like a lot of her songs. However, I just can't get behind any song (by any artist) that's created solely to bring someone down and

Was going to post something similar. In my mind, 'hoe'= gardening tool. The shortened version of 'whore' is 'ho', isn't it?

I am so glad that I'm not the only person that thought of this immediately.

Yes, parents can go to private U/S clinics and pay to have it done. Often, if you have a cool doctor, they'll refer you to the ultrasound clinic. At least here, if you have a referral from a doctor, MSP pays for it.

I agree with you to a certain point; however, the solution to this problem isn't 'Keep this information away from all pregnant woman because they might do something we don't like'. It punishes a majority of individuals that would never consider a sex-selective abortions for the acts of a few.

I figure if a doctor learns something about what's going on in my body, I have a right to know about it. Period. It doesn't matter if it's 'medically relevant' or not- the thought that my physician should know things about me that I don't and choose not to share it with me 'for my own good' makes me bristle.

Exactly my thought. I live in BC, Canada where it's already illegal for people in the public healthcare system to tell you your baby's sex- so people just get referrals from their doctors to private ultrasound clinics and they find out there. If you get a referral, it's covered by MSP- so taxpayers pay for it

I actually think the dress is very cute and sexy! If I could pull it off, I'd wear it. But I'm almost thirty.

I nursed my son until just after his second birthday. I was in the same boat as you- when should I stop? How do I stop? When I tried to cut him off cold turkey, I just traumatized him. He couldn't wrap his head around why his favorite source of comfort and yummy goodness was being withheld from him. It broke my

Great comment! Yes, big congratulations to Tracy for extended nursing! I used to call my youngest son the 'boobie monster' because he LOVED nursing. I pretty much had to nurse him for the first year because he had a hard time digesting formula of any kind and then, once he was able to drink regular milk, he still

Just because Khloe might not look like her dad doesn't mean she's not his daughter. Genetics are funny that way. Maybe she resembles a grandparent or aunt/uncle. My husband and I both have dark hair and dark eyes, but our youngest son is blonde haired with blue eyes. Both of our biological fathers had blue eyes,

Totally agree with you. In the end, does it really matter who the sperm donor is? "Mom" and "Dad" are the people who raise and love you.

I don't follow the Kardashians whatsoever but, in this day and age, it's hard to not at least know who they are. I don't get why Khloe's considered the 'unattractive' one- I've always thought she was the prettiest one of the bunch.

I'm also in the 'watch it go down' club. I have young kids so we've had toys and what-not get flushed. On more than one occasion, someone's flushed and left the room without noticing that the toilet was plugged- resulting in a flooded bathroom that I then got to clean up. Also, I got into couponing and started

I don't think you're odd. I'm not remotely afraid of germs. I'm not a big hand-washer, I'm not big on sterilizing stuff. Obviously, there are times when hand-washing and sanitizing is necessary, but I don't go to the extremes other people seem to. As a result, I've got a killer immune system and neither my family

My oldest son pronounced 'dump truck' as 'dumb fuck' for about six months. And he really, REALLY loved his dump truck.

My high school yearbooks only ever contained a)student portraits, taken at the school or b)candid shots of the students taken while in the school (during class, while hanging out at lunch break, etc.) or at school events/fundraisers. I believe that senior students submitted baby photos of themselves to go in one

I really appreciated this article. When I went through an abortion a few years ago, I definitely didn't want to hear about how it was 'just a clump of cells' or have anyone making assumptions about how I'd become pregnant in the first place. The fact was, I'd become pregnant unexpectedly right as we learned about my
