Um. I thought they looked awesome. But I have nail-envy, because mine are sad and weak from a lifetime of biting.

I never really thought about how I eat Oreos until I watched this and realized: I make my own Double Stufs. I split apart Oreo #1, and eat the half without the filling. Then I set down the other half and repeat the process with Oreo #2. Then I combine the two halves with the filling and eat it as one delicious,…

Perfection.
Perfection.
If the father is still alive, I believe he would be in prison because they said something about him going to prison for life (or "life" because of his age).

Yes, though I haven't read that one since it came out so I don't remember it all that well. But they are connected, for one thing. The other thing is that it's a good story within another good story within the greater Dark Tower narrative. Which is really how all of Wizard & Glass is.

Claire - I'll take this opportunity to hijack to say: how crazy was last week's Intervention with the guy whose dad attempted to rape his wife while Guy was in prison serving time to protect Dad, who'd turned him into a drug dealer in the first place?! His kids completely gutted me in that episode. It sucks that he…

I would recommend plowing through everything to get to the end. I really believe that the end is worth it. And I actually think I liked almost all of Book 7, though I'd have to re-read to figure out how much. Also, if you're already through Wolves, all you have left is SoS, which is really short compared to the others.

Yessssss, Keeping Up Appearances. That one is not inexplicable to me anymore though - I finally realized that I just find British "cozies" soothing. It's the same feeling I get when I watch Mrs. Marple on Masterpiece Mystery. Just that rainy Sunday PBS feeling. It's sort of addicting in itself.

Don't Stop is an instant party-saver (or party-starter). At our wedding, after we played a few slow songs and oldies, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough was the first song we chose because we knew people would rush the floor. You cannot hear that opening riff without wanting to move.

I think there's a way to do a TV show where there is a central narrative (Roland, Jake, Eddie, Susannah, and Oy on the Path of the Beam), and a Roland of Gilead narrative in flashbacks. Jake, Eddie, and Detta/Odetta/Susannah's backstories could be done that way as well. You could either do this the way Lost handled…

I'm sorry I know this - but they aren't together anymore. They were together for like seven years though.
