Please no, that front end is Fucking terrible. Aston Martin has for years had the crown of best front end on any car, this just looks fugly. The rest of the car looks amazing but the front is like what would happen if people played telephone describing an Aston Martin and the last guy drew it.

This car is available as both a wagon and a hatchback in Europe. Given that the US only gets the latter there really is nothing to argue about. The US market Elantra GT is a hatchback.
