Yo, congrats to you and the rest of your crew for standing up for what you believe in.
Thank you for this, I have spent all morning looking for a website to tell me who won last night’s game.
It’s almost like they’re concerned about other people! Weird.
As someone who was once part of a similar insurrection against arrogant, incompetent, and condescending management, I want to applaud all of y’all for today’s showing. I’m sure you’re simultaneously enjoying the fun of mutiny while also understanding the risk. Please also know how much it means to us here in the feebl…
Can you let me know when you will be returning to sports coverage so I can go back to checking in once or twice per day? I have a lot to do today at work and all of these posts about non-sports topics are distracting because I Must Read Every Single One of Them. Whereas with the sports stuff I really only care if its…
I’m a recovering alcoholic for many years now and at this point, I feel more for Jennifer Garner. It must be so frustrating to co-parent with an asshole.
Honestly, I had never gone to a wedding that included alcohol until I was in my late twenties, and that one was the most miserable. A bunch of people were overserved and it was an all-around bad time. If there are no booze or just a champagne toast, it's fine.
I would say the only rule of wedding planning should be: the bride and groom get to do what they want, however they want, and you are not obligated to attend/stay.
Please take this comment back to 1997 where it belongs.
This banner of how she has poor mental health disgusts me because it’s used to support poor character rather than disability. I mean this in a way where I have been there done that. I followed her for years because it was it was inspiring to see someone so forthcoming talk about mental health. On top of that her…
This is classic TERF/transphobe tactics: find the most extreme possible example, get someone who is casually ok with trans folks to go along with it, and then try to portray them as agreeing with you. Hillary Clinton has actually worked to measurably improve trans lies, I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt…
just LIKE a disgruntled customer? They ARE a disgruntled customer.
This story does sound bizarre. If you’re going to do all that weird shit to your apartment, why wouldn’t you pay your rent on time?
I mean... the part about her being late in rent a lot seems rather low on this post. And the rights for disabled people to have stable housing is a legitimate fight, but not really related to Lisa Frank.
Daniel Ortberg gives fantastic advice, I really enjoy reading DP now that Yoffe is no longer attached to it.
She is such a self-righteous shit-heel. When Daniel Ortberg took over Dear Prudence, it took me a long time to even think about reading the column, because all I knew it as was “that place where Emily Yoffe calls women sluts”. She’s a complete and utter Serena Joy who is so filled with fucking malice that she’ll…
This is Jezebel.
“Critics find her...” is code for a rhetorical construct created by those who fear her very strength. Warren doesn’t lack charisma; to the contrary, she’s got it in abundance, and that’s precisely why this canard is repeated constantly - to convince people that they’re not seeing the very qualities they are seeing.
The treatment for the disease goes beyond 12 step meetings. Most 12 step fellowships freely acknowledge that often medical interventions are beneficial and necessary. Now, to your point about the accessibility of that medical intervention...we’re pretty screwed until we can eliminate the profit motive from healthcare…
