I got to see Latrice Royale perform at an event and we raised close to 3k with more than 1/2 going to victims of the Pulse shooting and the rest going to local LGBT organizations. It was amazing to see her perform.

I would have been 8/9 when she was nominated for the job and maybe 16 when Bill’s term ended so I wouldn’t have been particularly engaged with what was happening in the world (I was a teenager, and one not living in America so yeah definitely unengaged in US politics among many things).
