My father is, among other things, a hoarder who couldn’t keep a job throughout my childhood.

I know how this shit works because, as I said, I have worked in television for all my adult life. I am sitting at my desk right now at my job in television!

Well I hope you avert your gaze in hospital waiting rooms that play tv you didn’t pay for and never go to a friend’s house to watch a DVD that you didn’t purchase.

I work in television and I’d say probably 3-5% of the stuff I watch is pirated. It is ethically no different to me than sharing a Netflix password, going to a second-run movie theater, or when my aunt would tape MST3K for us because we didn’t have cable.
