So I’m active in the disability community and there are people who are FURIOUS that this woman can raise that much money for something self-inflicted while their GoFundMe’s to try to cover vital medical procedures don’t get close to 1/4 of the donations.  I get it. 

It baffles me that I keep encountering the idea that this woman is somehow the underdog or even a hero after this moment of colossal and self-inflicted fuckery.
