All the great characters and interesting storylines being wasted by this show has to be some sort of a record.

Kinski might have been an asshole, but a lot of the most serious allegations were made after he was conveniently too dead to refute them.

Didn't Klaus Kinski want too much money or something and went off to make "Crawlspace"? He might not have gotten as much money, but he chose the better movie.

If a piece of media is over 20 years old, you can count on the trusty AV Club to point out all of the "problematic" parts!

Other people have mentioned it below, but hats off to the recent MANIAC update by aja. Arguably the best of all horor remakes, considering that the original was grindhouse trash and notable only for the effects by Savini.

i disagree that the acting is bad i thought everyone did a fine job. also didn't find any of it boring in the slightest. the world-building was quite a bit more substantial than 90% of the garbage out there that passes for genre fare nowadays.

If you have anything positive to say about this show you are decidedly in the minority.

Time to cut their losses and cancel this. The entire concept was doomed from the start. Better to just spin off Selina Kyle…the only interesting character with a backstory worth exploring. Also the only character on the show that was well-cast.
