There is only one Adam Sandler movie (barring Funny People) that I enjoy, and strangely enough that movie is Little Nicky. The final half is tedious, but I guess I'm attracted to its trainwreck tits and plane crash ass.

I'll die happy knowing that I've caused a huge mess and, hopefully, an hour of programming on ID.

You say this like it's a bad thing. America would be so much better off if we had never rejected the monarchy and disrespected the King.

No.

Speaking of Diamond Dogs, the Sweet Thing-Candidate trio is something I hardly ever hear mentioned and it is "tits" as the kids say.

Queen Bitch is fantastic. His pre-Ziggy work gets too little credit!

Outside was my favorite post-70s record up until Heathen. For my tastes, the ONLY thing hurting it is the 90's atmosphere. (I have little love for 90s rock, which I feel I'm all but alone in that opinion.)

I'd rank Diamond Dogs higher, it's a mean and brutal record.

Very much so. I recently rediscovered it after several years. It's fantastic. Especially its opener and closer.

It's one of my favorite to sing along with.

I record electronic music and I this is basically my M.O.

"All that being said, the cover just makes me want to go listen to "Heroes" instead of the new album."
As much as I love/revere "Heroes", I just might like this album slightly more - so don't sell yourself short. Listen to them back-to-back! That's what I've been doing.

I'm a eurostile man, myself. Elegant with a touch of arrogance.

I've been waiting to read the review of this album. It's an amazing record, more immediately satisfying than the excellent Heathen and also one of his deepest. When I first heard of Bowie's return, I was skeptical, but this record has me hoping for a quick return. He's one of the very, very few artists who has

I know.

tl;dr

I've always enjoyed his lower-key albums, so I would definitely recommend Luxor and Spooked. Luxor is mostly Robyn and his guitar and it's a goregous, intimate album. Spooked, for my money, might be the best thing he's ever done.

I just finished watching all 6 seasons of the Larry Sanders Show and I can't help but wonder why Howard Stern would ever want to work on a late night talk show, for a broadcast network no less, considering that both NBC and the talk show format are both lumbering dinosaurs staving off death no matter how much living

Nah, I'm a northern urbanite liberal and I think Jim Varney was totally under-rated. He got stuck playing the same character over and over again, but he had huge amounts of comedic skill and potential. It's a major shame he passed before he had a chance to expand himself.
