My dad was an engineer at a Ford subsidiary back then. Strangely enough, Chrysler contracted his group to design the power steering for the upcoming refresh of the Ram trucks, and they needed a test mule for prototype parts.

His company’s purchasing department was dragging their feet approving the test mule…

I had one of those 3.7 manuals. I do miss that truck, especially after putting in 2012 seats.

As a child of color I grew up in shit neighborhood with a shit school system that was just passing me on through the grades. I was in the 3rd grade and I could not read. His show, was the one thing that made me want to learn to read.

You don’t need to, just read up on institutional racism at your local library.

one of the all-time great shows right now. it does so many things that sound awful on paper, but he executes them in such a delightful, joyful and deliberate way.
