I’m a few years younger, so we were free to complain about her being too hot to play Hermione.

In fairness…I’d say that the dialogue in Superbad is horrifically misogynistic and homophobic in a way that uncannily reflects how teenaged boys spoke to each other in the mid-2000s.
Doesn’t even sound like he shouted - just mouthed off to some pencil-dick who told him he couldn’t get out of his car while waiting for his friend’s traffic stop to wrap up.
There’s still plenty of guitar-centered, lyrics-driven music out there.
Sure sounds like it.
He’s never been a back the blue guy, haha…
…tell me you don’t know who Zach Bryan is without saying so, haha.
Yeah, I also wouldn’t call Zach particularly “country.”
Hell yeah, Zach Bryan!
There were loads of abolitionists who absolutely WOULD say that word, because their argument against slavery was that American was given by God as a paradise for white people.
Teaching a version that replaces the N-word with “slave” is worse than not teaching it - characters call Jim that word whether they know he’s enslaved or not, and Twain has them do so for a reason.
He’s playing Batman, so why wouldn’t he have a Batman growl???
I want it to do well because I love Xolo Mariduena.
…tell me you haven’t seen this show without saying so.
…
Yep. After the first season ended with a battle that included CAHIR overpowering VILGEFORTZ, the second opened with Yen having “lost her magic,” and deciding to sell Ciri’s soul to the devil to regain it.
I actually really enjoyed S1 Yen! Chalotra’s performance there would have perfectly transitioned into her falling for Ciri as the daughter she always wanted but couldn’t have.
A lot of the books’ political stuff was overly convoluted and besides the point…and the show somehow made it so, so much dumber and worse!
JUST LIKE WEST SIDE STORY!
That’s…not at all what G-Off said?
