If this had been advertised as a Chevrolet instead of a Cadillac and used the best Euro powertrains (or a V8), I'm not sure it would have been a flop. It was considered a rather good car here, especially for being an Opel.

I totally agree, the show does grow on you. I didn't like the first two seasons that much but when they gave up on the top gear UK format and just started doing road trips I thought that was brilliant.

Actually as the biggest TopGear UK Fan, I have to admit, that TopGear US grows on me. Besides the one fact, that they still copy the plots and Ideas from the original Series.
