I’m a firm believer that level 4 autonomous vehicles should be illegal. The biggest challenge to autonomous vehicles is identifying very subtle differences between non-human obstacles and human obstacles on the road. Imagine a child laying in the road. I live in rural Canada. I dd a pickup because outside of work, my wife and I do a ton of shit. I’m hearing a lot of people say tax the gas. Gas going up 10%, or even 20% isn’t going to make me sell the truck. It means I’m going to have less cash to spend in other places.
