There is a reason that I have always lived less then a mile from work and have a 2010 ford raptor with 117,000 miles on it. And having biked and walked to work and the grocery store, and have had 11 months of unemployment during the time I’ve owned my truck. I think my commuting is less than 3,000 miles or 2.5% of my

Yes but the government can see the value in commerce and tourism associated with air travel. In fact many airlines have to pay for landing fees to use airports. The rail lines are already paid for by the rail companies like BNSF and Union Pacific that am track runs on and still runs a huge losses.

Thank good we don’t have big brother protecting us from cars driven over 30mph in a commercial.

It did and those picture where taken on a trail that was level 4 from trail damage sorry i didn’t get out and take pictures in the hard stuff didn’t want to stop. I will bet in Colorado labor day weekend and will make sure to take pictures of the raptor on the more sever portions.

Yes I know thats why i drive a f150 now

That Navigator is a rental car that looks like someone may have stollen it then vandalized it there is no way those rocks ended up balancing on the hood like the on accident and someone probably stuffed the grill full of rotting wood as well.

Its a myth that the Jeep/FJ crowd would have you believe but 99.9% of rad trails can be done with a full size pickup most trails are maintained by the national forest service and BLM who drive full size trucks. I drove a stock chevy suburban through the mountains of colorado while in college and currently drive a

There are probably even more ford trucks using class 10 handles especially since the all pre 2017 Super Duties have them. Here is a 2015 example

Ford has Grade braking in the F150s that can be activated by tow haul mode and taping the brake pedal. On Raptors its activated in off road mode as well. I use this feature frequently coming down mountain passes. I would play around with it and see the engagement points that cause the truck to down shift.

On the f150 put it in tow haul mode and tap the breaks and it will do grade braking with the transmission going down hill, Raptors will also do it in off road mode. Even in an empty truck i use it going down steep mountain passes to keep the truck under control.

You say that you need a short wheel base but the H3T in the picture has 1" more wheelbase than a supercab raptor. 134" vs 133". And quite a few of us take out trucks off road we need off-road performance and passenger and cargo volume for a vehicle to be useful. A 2 door wrangler might as well be a side by side. Most

The trucks that bent their frame had aftermarket spring packs that removed the factory bump stop. 117,000 miles on mine with about 50k beating it off road and no frame damage.

Glacier still has their fleet.

The T/X Pro Tacoma (2011) with less options than my raptor that i cross shopped with for the same price after 115000 miles is worth $19,589 using the same millage condition and private party value on KBB my Raptor says its worth $22,229. Both the trucks are rated at 14 city 18 hwy so thats a was wash the supercars

Andrew the “small” raptor still has more rear seat leg room than the current Taco I could not sit behind the driver seat in that thing. where as i fit in the back of the Raptor. Additionally the T/X Pro Tacoma (Precursor to the TRD Pro) would have cost me the same as my 5.4 Raptor so the price between the two has

I find it odd that BMW says you can go 15k on an oil change when ford and GM both say 7500 on their pickup trucks (which are typically reaching very high miles) and they even say to go to 5k oil changes if you drive in dusty conditions , tow, use 4x4, drive in the mountains, drive in extreme heat or cold. Basically if

What part? i lived in update NY for the last year, now I’m back out west I’m glad you take your vehicle off the beaten path I have driven a VW Jetta on dirt roads before. The Raptor was really useless when i lived on the east coast , but when you live out west its a blast and being able to hit 100mph on a rough dirt

Yah I’m just bummed that i’ll be paying 50% more than my 2010 was granted my is a 5.4l everything is getting expensive these days.

I’m still going to get one but my 2010 MSRP was $42k with luxary equipment group the new one starts at $48 plus $9300 for the luxary package to probably get the same options as my truck due to bundling options I don't want. Bring the cost to $60,000 for a supercab.
