Thanks Doug, I figure my mirrors will be taller than the roof lines of most cabs defiantly going to go during a time when its not business hours hopefully that will make it less crowded on the roads.

Doug, I am interested in taking my raptor into Manhattan now that I live in upstate NYany additional advice on taking such a wide vehicle there? My AC works and my 7000lb truck has 320hp and it's not yellow so it will not blend in with the cabs.

I’m the former who bought the latter. Jk on the caged prerunner but I have used the raptor the exact way it was designed to scraped the skid plate a little bit. I haven’t folded the truck in half like some other owners nor turned it into a Brodozer

nope its the last two buttons 7/8 and 9/0 held down together

I know on my truck its 5 characters, Ford also told me that for a fee they can change the code to what ever I want .

I thought about that too but now that I own a ford with it I cannot live without it, you can also use it to lock the doors to if your hands are full you just have to hit the last to buttons no need to fumble for the keys while you are carrying heavy or fragile things. It also helps when you are have a million things

Ive done the same thing

At least yours are of an actual f35 and not a plywood mockup

Im kinda partial to Fords strength in the Raptor

Real trucks have functional vents and real exhaust tips

This price is not bad at all it took 2 months and 16K from my insurance company to fix my Raptor that had 44k on the clock back in 2012 those svt lower control arms aren’t cheap but when they go they go.

You have two second gen pics

Nobody needs a lot of things but as a Raptor owner I’ll tell you that it lets you go on a lot of roads really fast or places an FX4 cannot go stock at lower speeds. Do I need to go to those place or fast on dirt roads no but I get to se some pretty cool things in the little time I have off from work. Now I just have

That 6.2 was available in f150, standard on f250,f350 and raptor. And not every raptor has the 6.2 some like mine are 5.4l v8s including some velociraptors where Hennessy supercharged 5.4l Raptors. Just cause the f150 has a 5.0 doesn’t make it a mustang. The 6.2 is going to be one of 3 engines that the raptor came

What's with Hennessy calling all their non raptor based trucks velociraptors. I get it when they mod a raptor but turning a superduty into an excursion and calling it a velociraptor just seems wrong. They did make a raptor based suv. But they should just save the name for whatever they do to the 2017 raptor.

Nope it was always supposed to be an off the shelf regular cab with lots of lux bits they offered the iceboats in the regular cab long bed in XL and XLT but not the short bed to that point.

This truck is not replacing the F150 Tremor (2014) but the 2012-2014 FX Appearance pkg (2012 pictured) the Tremor was just an ecoboost FX2/FX4 with appearance pkg in regular cab w/ 4.10 rear axel ratio. The 2012 had all leather but the 2013-14 had allacantra

It has to do with the engine mounting position low wing mounted engines on low wings like those on 707/737/747/757/767/777/787 A300/310/320/330/340/380 to reduce FOD being kicked up and then being sucked into the engines. On planes with high mounted engines like, DC9, MD80, MD90 717, and 727 typically use thrust

I’m just glad that my truck came with triple bypass shocks. They make off road driving fun and fast and have really good road manners on the pavement.
