Most of the European war plunder has been uncovered. (Those helmets are hidden under floorboards and in attics because deep-down, the soldiers know that war plunder is still theft.)

That’s the FIRST thing I thought of when I read that!
I reluctantly star your comment.
Is it any help that Hollywood doesn’t help the average male with dating advice, either? I went to college thinking that I would need to act like an asshole to get a woman’s attention, and then “turn into a nice guy” later. (See all movies from the 1980's, although a lot of guys never did change, and the woman just…
This is a tricky one. It is in good shape by midwest standards, but it is still an 80's design budget convertible, although well configured. Probably peppy-enough to be fun, but flexy-frame enough to keep you from really having fun.
Agree with Calvin Banman. Your comparison to 3 years ago is not applicable. I could have bought a mint e28 M5 for $10,ooo in 2007-2008. Timing is everything in cars and real estate.
That Capri always looked better than its contemporary Mustang.
I They will convince themselves that the car cover shows it was cared-for and the extra wheels justify the slightly high price.
If you went to college, your first apartment probably smelled worse. Roll down those windows and get yourself a pine tree air freshener!
You forgot to mention lack of rust! That same car in the midwest would have holes all over by now!
It’s a different criterion for The Showdown. You need to choose one over the other (although abstaining with distain seems to be a common-enough theme in the comments.) I have not problem with the overlap of material. There is enough evidence that there isn’t any copying going-on. Just the same, unique-enough vehicles…
It runs, it has AWD, no visible rust, and there are no major tears in the upholstery. As long as it doesn’t smell bad, it’s probably a NP. Bonus points for yellow.
What makes you say that?
I drove my parents’ ‘78 Mustang in an orangy-gold not far off from this one. I was shocked when beige-gold became a thing. It was so bland compared to this gold.
Gold is the metallic version of brown, after all.
When considering the full leather and manual trans, I suspect it’s priced right.
That interior looks to have only 40K miles of butts in it. I don’t know why you are skeptical. It looks like a weekend toy.
It’s the Maybach equivalent of the pine tree hanging from your rearview mirror.
There are an awful lot of coupes on this list! Many readers here bemoan the loss of coupes on the market, but the sales numbers are not great.
That is true, but it sounds like the commenters from above are actually budgeting for these cars, instead of just throwing 8 years of financing at the problem.
