Bought new: ‘96 Ranger went 110K miles (sold to my dad), ‘08 Mustang Bullitt went 135K miles before trading in on ‘19 Mustang Bullitt, which I expect to own/drive until I can no longer drive (I’m 66).

You don’t need a degree in economics—even the experts don’t really understand ‘economics’—to see we have effectively exported our prosperity. In a way it’s good: we haven’t had the world war that would eliminate life as we know it because the world is so intertwined, but we’ve devolved into a ‘winner take all’ society.

That’s an Austin-Healey 100 (see mine above). The windshield slides forward from the base—note the stops about

I’ve got a couple of the ‘upgraded’ British roadsters (though the 3000 isn’t technically a ‘roadster’ as it’s a 2+2 and has roll-up windows, as does the Spit). Both are younger than me, the 100M just barely:

My Mustang GT annunciates when it has ‘50 Miles to Empty.’  That’s, like, six or seven gallons.

Logic OK, but I don’t think they call it the ‘Rust Belt’ because there are tons of good-paying jobs for unskilled workers.

Yeah, but Kudlow is ‘The Idiot’s Idiot.”

“Or at least that is exactly what the GOP and FOX News noise machine will beat endlessly at the beginning of next year.”
