False equivalence and ‘but, but, but ... THEY did it too!!!’ isn’t an argument.

Isn’t that a Veyron; i.e. a tarted-up VW?
You don’t suppose Mike and Edd get paid to do the show?
I never got the impression the show was about buying only cheap ‘fixer-uppers;’ I think it was about buying ‘interesting.’ The producers probably underwrote the whole thing anyway.
Sooooooooo ... You’ve passed judgement without having, you know, watched the show? Got it.
Yeah, not buttoned-down, like ‘Fast and Loud,’ ‘Graveyard Cars,’ etc.
Oooooooooo ... Would like to hear what the ‘very bad things’ were. I just can’t see it.
Nope.
Actually, that might be cool (unless they’re just fixin’-n’-flippin’ wheelchairs).
Comcast has it ‘On Demand,’ going back a few seaons at least.
It doesn’t drive me crazy, but you are correct:
I’m a ‘shadetree mechanic’—though with an ex-autoshop teacher father as mentor/tutor—I’ll take mechanical instruction/insight wherever I can get it, even if it means enduring annoying co-hosts (except Mark). Mike does seem to genuinely love the cars, and sometimes adds interesting historical aspects.
They ‘sold it’ back to the previous owner. While that may seem contrived, they did it at least once—an RX-7—with Edd still on the show.
Your cable channel should have it ‘on demand’ (unless it’s satellite—takes days to download).
Mike’s not a favorite, but the guy—Mark?—on ‘Graveyard Cars’ wins the annoying booby prize.
You do know Mike and Edd got a Lambo, right? Don’t recall the price, but it was likely way north of $35K.
Thanks for clarifying that. On Comcast, at least, the ‘thumbnail/icon’ for that show features the rear end of an Austin-Healey 100; hope they do a show on that car.
Sorry, no link (yet). Caught it on one of the cable channels (which may not have been Velocity). Was a short teaser; hell, maybe I hallucinated it (but don’t think so).
My GF says he shills them on his FB page. Didn’t care for him shilling waterless coolant in the TR, either.
I don’t like spoilers or ‘wings’ of any sort—bought a 2008 Bullitt Mustang in part for the ‘spoiler delete’—and no DD needs them, but 3 looks a damn sight better than 2 on that car. And, it was designed and built to be an honest rally car and, face it, none of them are pretty.
