Added to that was the general structure of running from setpiece to setpiece that made up a lot of the episodes in Tennant's tenure (so much so that "run" essentially became his trademark).

Well The Handmaid's Tale is pretty lauded for a reason. Also the Blind Assassin as dcp said and I pretty much enjoyed all the books of the MaddAddam trilogy. And I've been informed by my Atwood loving friend who lent me Oryx and Crake in the first place that Cat's Eye is fantastic (though I haven't read it myself).

Fantastic news. I think Oryx And Crake is the best novel that Margaret Atwood has written. Even better than Handmaid's Tale.

Considering Lar's perchant for pranks, and how this is the only movie Lars Von Trier made that fits into Dogme 95, I always wondered if von Trier created the Dogme movement only to intentionally mock it. That to do a movie like "The Idiots" is - lacking a better phrase - faking retardation.
