So I guess I shouldn't be surprised when this show pulls out all the horribleness stops, but that was the worst. THE WORST.

Subjective opinions?! On individual bits of MUSIC?! BLAAAAARRGH flarfle garble grobble garble walrus, fnargle.

Yeah, it was pretty much directly that scene where Clint freaks out due to his high fever and concern about the assassin, (complete with the popping balloons), and calls "Gun!" on someone that doesn't have one.

Yeah Todd's outfit (and crazy flip!), the car park setting, the way the shots were framed, the cutting back to the entertainment event that they were in the car park for, the epic duel…I'd put the chances that the whole scene was a dedicated homage to the Highlander opening scene in the 90th percentile of 110%.

So good. When you can fit pitch-perfect homages to films as diverse as Highlander, The Winter Soldier, True Lies, Mission Impossible and In The Line of Fire (I'm sure I'm missing some too; the kitchen shootout scenario seemed awfully familiar) into your 20-odd minute episode and still actually have a coherent plot,

Wash your mouth out, AV Club – Ser Barristan is awesome. (And Grey Worm is hopefully not dead.)

Somewhere, Temuera Morrison hovers anxiously by his phone.

While I appreciate a good acting performance, I'm not generally run around gushing about how amazing so-and-so is in such-and-such a thing, but Eva Green is just super, super amazing in this show. Has she won all the awards yet? She really needs to win all the awards.

Maybe they put it in casting notices.

Michael Madsen seems like a pretty easygoing dude.

Wait, is this article kinda…anti-Muppet?

Oh man, that zombie one. So good. And actually kind of terrifying!

The following scenario just happened to two doctors:

Flint has motivation now! Somewhat surprising motivation! Where are you, AV Club!

What with loving family, the company of good friends, life's small joys, and simple acts of kindness, it can be all too easy to entirely forget about humanity's general propensity for awfulness and our grim, inexorable march towards inevitable death. Fortunately, there's The Walking Dead!

I have been awaiting it too, but no sign. Allow me to sum up my moods of hope and disappointment in an appropriate manner:

No Season 2 coverage? Sad face.

I recently made my first ever trip to the US, and ran around agog at your Various Things for 5 days. Remembering I was under orders to bring some US lollies (OK fine, "candy") back for the kids, I grabbed some random stuff at LAX on the way home, which we tried with the kids when we got back. And now my question to

"A through F all already taken care of, Mr Johnson!"
"And it's only 10 o' clock! Good work, team. You're really filing on all cylinders today!"

Aye. Just in from 3 days on the frontlines of Badass Digest. It's…it's hell out there, captain. (stares dead-eyed into the middle distance)
