My biggest recurring thought watching the first two episodes was that Bryan Fuller could do something really special with this premise and pastel production design.

I was hoping so much that The Question would show up.

I remember the Secret Snake Club episode making me laugh so hard that I cried when I was a kid.

"And better music."

"Lucifer is ultimately a show that has no right to be as good as it is and can only get better."

You can honestly quit at the end of season 5.

The thing about this show is that it focuses so much on spectacle and wackiness that there's no recognizable human drama to connect to. It's just so dang empty.

The opening reveal with Zoom's backstory made me pull a Brooklyn 9-9 and go, "Cool motive. Still murder."

When the opening credits flashed "and Ken Marino" I knew it would be an A+ episode.

Wow, this show just cannot do a Kendra subplot to save its life.

"You gonna try to find the real killer?"

Well, I'll see you all when the hourlong special that will actually wrap up this season airs in three years.

Lana Banana's gonna get her Emmy on this year.

I don't watch this show, but GODDAMN, B.D. Wong looks so fucking good as Hugo Strange.

Literally nobody in the Asian community would mind if they saw an Asian dude doing martial arts in a major TV show. Nobody. Not one.

Strong Pushing Daisies vibes from the case of the week and from Liv's brain personality. Love it.

Even though Ross Kardashian's opening speech was a bit on the nose, I think it really showed that Schwimmer can do some real solid acting, he sold it much better than I expected.

Also the always welcome Cristin Milioti voiced Wide Wale's daughter!

My one sentence review: "Wow I can't believe Hank Moody from Californication wrote a TV show!"

Well guess he's off the shortlist for Iron Fist.
