The weakness to fire deal was a lot more subdued in the show. It was noticeable, but subtle. Kinda like how they dealt with Green Lantern's impotence in the face of the color yellow.

Was I the only one to think that Hershel was going to turn into a zombie during that final scene where they were all holding hands? Like with the score, and the direction, I expected his breathing to turn into growls at any second.
