Incidents like this happen far more than people know about. It’s been happening more and more in recent years and yet the original narratives get far more media coverage versus the factual narrative which actually happened.

Michael Brown was a thug actively engaged in violent criminal behavior. If he wasn’t shot and killed when he did he was have at some point in the future.
The problem is that almost no white people think that black lives don’t matter or think that black people don’t deserve to be treated like people so building a movement around such a statement is pointless.
Or they’re steaming hot truth. Either way it burns when you actually deal with it.
Not sure I’d say that it is effective, the BLM movement is really their own worst enemy.
