I read it may be related to pain killer addiction and withdrawal. And it’s a “town” with terrible cold moldy buildings and you have to boil wAter, that probably doesn't help

! Wow! Someone actually realizes it was not paradise in Canada before Harper. There were tons of problems, I don't think more or less, just different
You’re right we should support them in moving to cities and towns. And older people should certainly not be expected to work, they should get welfare and group homes at the very least
They do get money the problem is they have a corrupt (or at least innefficient ) chief. A few years ago they had very bad mold and water problems and declared a state of emergency. Prime minister Harper asked what happened to their own money and she had no answer
Yes definitely blurred lines as they ‘model’ the clothes at this job
Oh and I agree, that the way they said it is untrue since the “Zara look” is in the collage there. There are a lot of dumb cnd women mgr who can’t make sentences that make sense. Men too actually. It killed me to have to work under these people after university where people generally make sense (even foreign…
The thing is, though there’s some hypocracy and probably racism with Cree’s story, Zara having that ad campaign with some models looking messy, to me, does not entitle any employee to wear those particular hairstyles while working as managers, sales people/ retail assistants and cashiers.
I’m not saying they are right, but I think what they are objecting to is how it looks from the back- not featured by Jezebel but you can scroll up to a previous comment or try the CBC link
Hmm that is interesting to see . Several of those I use at home and certainly take out when I walk a block to pick up my coffee.. but in theory , the employees don’t necessarily have the same standard as any models. this case aside, employees can't say- oh but you featured an ad with a women wearing a shirt as a dress…
These results aren’t created by Google. I read an article on this. When bosses complain about black women’s hair and they post the story and pic with the words “unprofessional hair" that’s how they are featured in the results.
I agree about the dress code, if they don’t have anything on hair in theirs they don’t have a leg to stand oneZ But it’s acceptable if any fashion store has an employee hair style code or dress code which is unlike their ads. For example it's been a while but I believe LV employees look something like stewardesses,…
Why areonly white hair able to get moldy?
Some stories should have a meter. To show the level of cis white man-splaining, cis white male privilege, typical white feminist othering, etc.
So how do black people get leaned on in society? Tired today but I can only guess slavery and the building of America ? Is that the unfortunate connection?
Is the one you're speaking of a professional model or just a circus kid? If not a model perhaps it's BRF!;)
She's in the middle, and has the nicest clothes on too
What stereotype does it reinforce though ? Is there a stereotype that black people aren't good or don't try hard at sports or dance ?
I think that comment is just making fun of Jezebel
Also it shows off the super nice pink shirt. Before knowing what the problem was first thing I noticed was the black girl’s nice hair.
Wow! Thanks
