Problem with that is, with Iron Man he could easily retake his base. With any of the Avengers, single handedly.

Most likely regrew what she needed.

They're doing phenomenal makeup effects right here right now, that wasn't the complaint. Outside of ol 5-head eyes, the practical effects are top notch.

Well Widow learned to fight prior to joining Shield so her style should be distinct.

Or the part of him that recognizes what makes Simmon's boat float.

Great, but man you have to watch more Xena/Buffy if you want to start that conversation off right.

And if it was a monarchy that would mean something.
That aspect alone would be enough for plenty of former agents not to trust him.

The problem is, Fury didn't have more information than they did at the time. And the command structure went the way of SHIELD itself once HYDRA popped it's head back up. Following that order was demonstrably bad.

I mean at this point it's intentionally bad tho. His hair goes thru iterations as well.

I mean right? They did what spy organizations do, infiltrate and gather intel. There's no moral judgement on those activities.

They're still a group of spies, you know. External transparency will never be a thing. I mean planting people in other organizations to gather intel is exactly what they're supposed to be doing. Even more so than the guns blazing stuff, which should only ever happen once, at the end.

Almost Human

He isn't the director of shield, he is a part of the council, which is actually a whole lot more valid than Fury naming a successor like a King. Pretty sure that's not how it worked pre-Hydra.

I didn't get that the show was telling us anything. Hell, it seemed to put a real positive spin on the RealShield origin, in that they realized that orders to die were meaningless when the reasons why were unknown or invalid. Seemed a pretty big strike against Fury's bonafides.

I mean they zoomed in on him clocking his gun seconds after Bobbi said use only icers, and I was waiting for the "dadaduuum" riff. Agent Asshole does it again!

Write whatever you want, just label it as such. People will deal.

He seems to be gradually getting better with each passing episode, and it's being done in a real subtle way. Also seems like the less he has to actually think about his actions, the more efficient he is. It's been a very well scripted and acted transformation, if that's what's happening.

Altho now that I look at it again, it's a likely reference to Bride of Re-Animator. That cobbled together female body. Wish it could have happened after 5 episodes, or to another character with Combs as the Mad piecing parts together, but alas.

He didn't go to 8 years of evil medical school to be MR, thank you very much.

Didn't seem like recognition of each other, but of intent. His murderous and hers to fight, not run.
