I also think of Middle Cyclone as a great entry point. It boils her country, folk, and pop sounds into one cohesive form and has several high points of each style. But yeah. They’re all good.

Not providing an answer is easily the most devious thing the Js have done to the fans. After years and years of fake identities, secret agents, double crosses, etc., there’s yet another person who could be a spy... and for once, we’re the ones in the dark. The paranoia the show often lived in bled into the fandom ,

I suspect this weekend will involve some of Mario Tennis Aces for the demo weekend, akin to how I spent several hours with Overwatch last week, chased by The Witcher 3 as I continue to wade through the muck of Velen.

The latter, even when the dude sings about scooping poop.

Power Tennis was so damned good that I don’t know what a new one could possibly bring to the table for $60. But they’re doing a demo tourney this upcoming weekend, so we can all find out.

GodDAMMIT! I hate this hacker crap!

I’ll be taking my first crack at Overwatch this weekend as it’s free and doesn’t require PS Plus. The toxic community is legendary, but I figure for free I can see what I think about it over the long weekend.

Rightfully so. They have their phases, sure, and I don’t think Tweedy has another masterpiece in him, but come on. There was a period of time where they were undeniably great.

I would agree with Caitlyn, I suspect, were it not for The King is Dead. That album floored me and still does.

Summerteeth is pure pop perfection, too. I don’t disagree that after YHF the band has slowly receded like a middle-aged hairline, mostly just mildly pleasant these days, but they had a run there.

There’s something a lot of people really, really like about Obsidian, but their stuff leaves me cold, to the point where after Pillars of Eternity I just stopped trying to figure it out.

I still think 3 is better than New Vegas and I won’t hear otherwise.

Dragon Age Origins was the first time I played a CRPG and I felt like I could understand what was going on and effectively employ the systems therein. Also the systems at play in CRPGs too often devolve into the exciting realm of crowd control and kiting.

It’s amazing how short-sighted the veterans can be. You need to get paid while you’re young, not count on these wrong side of 30 (and younger in the NFL) contracts to set you up for generations.

Especially since it goes out of its way to tell you about the two swords and their respective strengths.

Yes, there is a schedule, which you can view from the in-game menu or via the Nintendo Online app. I usually watch for loadouts I like and then jump in on those.

On first pass it definitely feels like Beach House But A Little Different, which of course is important and consistent for them. “Dive” caught me off guard (in a good way), but it’s all good.

What? No love for Homeless Dad?

It was fine as something they were into, at least for me. It fell apart in Season 4 when an entire episode was built around it.

The flamethrower at least.
