So you’re saying it’s the virtual equivalent to those Crossfire commercials, which made shooting marbles at things on a board seem nigh-apocalyptic?

I know what you mean. I like games to have lots of content, but it has to feel meaningful; it has to feel worth my while these days, whereas a kid might like just tooling around, hunting in every nook and cranny. I know Setsuna was on sale recently on the Switch shop, but I’m still waiting for it to drop below $20,…
I’ve been following the same strategy, though I’m a bit stalled in the third single player world. I’ve started chasing balloons around, I don’t know if they make Level 11, the last one I need, pop up. But in general I don’t care for the whole “find the entrance!” thing, since it feels like a belabored minigame to get…
We need real-time updating and Sort by New, because that’s what made WAYPTW such a fun place to stay all day. Having to reload, and hunt for new posts, is not fun.
I don’t understand why clowns are scary to people. I mean, they’re weird all right, but scary?
Second.
What I wouldn’t give for a modern update/refresh of the original series, made more accommodating to advances in UI and playability. LIke in PS4, maybe I shouldn’t have to run Zio’s Tower four times to grind my way through it and leave victorious.
Happy birthday! You should celebrate on Monday night by playing Battle Mode with tourney code 4623-7347-7931, 8PM Central!
I want to say there’s a 30 minute edit window before it locks up. And as a person who likes to shore up weaker points of a post as much as two days later, this is a great loss.
Farsight, huh? I love Pinball Arcade, though I can’t say I like the UI after they relaunched post-Crave. Glad they were able to escape that vortex when the pub went down, however, and I may have backed a table or two of theirs (I much prefer their physics to other devs, and it’s not particularly close). They seem like…
I admit to some curiosity about Rocket League with it coming to Switch. Gotta be some other neophytes on the platform, right?
If you only had access to proper irrigation and a combine...
Join us for random battle fun on Monday, 8/28! Tourney code is 4623-7347-7931, 9 Eastern/6 Pacific.
Oh, he’s trying!
Ah, yes. It’s what makes RPGs so satisfying but also, as an adult, such a challenge. We need time to soak in the game, to spend 1-2 hours at minimum playing it, to make progress, to reconnect to the story and knock out a few battles.
I’ve seen this sentiment about MEA online quite a bit, and I think it’s funny that we as consumers are now upset when a game DOESN’T have DLC post-release. Meanwhile, I’m giving Mario X Rabbids side-eye for having “Season Pass” for a cutesy XCOM clone.
I only played it post-update, so I don’t know how it compares, but I know Alan Wen at Kotaku UK liked the game much better with the addition of “Four Peaks”, which basically breaks down the stages of the main roguelike adventure into smaller chunks of static level design for players to better understand the obstacles…
I totally TOTALLY borked Mario Kart 8 Deluxe night last week. Wrong code my fault blah blah blah. So after some internal debate, I am re-rolling Battle Mode for Monday, August 28th, 8-10PM Central. The tourney code is 4623-7347-7931, and I’ll be following DL’s clever example and keeping the code for Battle nights…
Death Note in and of itself is flawed, so the reviews for this heavily truncated version of an insanely long series (for the story being told, that is) speak to that. Still, I suffered through all thirty-something episodes of a show with an even less likable protagonist than Walter White, so I’ll watch the stupid…
