Good Christ...this has to be a joke, yes? Because otherwise, I just...how has she not somehow forgotten to breath? People that don't understand the metric system are being deliberately stupid, I'm sure of it. >.<;;

I DO THAT *ahem* Mainly because sometimes otherwise my stupid tights fall down (I have a big ass and small waist, and for some reason this makes my tights want to escape). Supermanning (is what I call it)! :D)
That also. I mean, a lot of higher educated students can write English much better than they can speak, but people who work in these factories will probably not have been educated in English at all..
yeah, in European countries. Having lived in Beijing and travelling there frequently for work, I can tell you most people do not speak English. Especially outside of the larger cities. I don't think factory workers would be able to say this in English.
This happened at the high school I went to in the States. The mum in question was the wife of the CEO of a car company and thought it was dumb that kids in the States couldn't drink until 21 (the family is German). There was such a kerfuffle about it. I found it hilarious a. because 18 year old drinking in a house…
Thanks so much for your comment ^.^ makes me feel a lot better knowing I'm somewhat normal :D
This is probably a strange one but here goes:
Indian lamb burgers made of ground lamb with cumin, coriander, bit of salt, onions, chillies, ginger, garlic, and mango chunty instead of eggs/breadcrumbs for binding them. SO. NICE. We make them all the time.
I believe it's law in the UK that you have to give free tap water if you serve alcohol. I think the idea is then people might alternate drinking alcohol and water more readily if the water is free. Also hydration while dancing like a mad thing is important.
I can't be the only woman who is more untidy than her male partner, can I? I don't mean dirty (like the bathroom in our house is clean because I bleach that crap), but books and papers and clothes laying out just doesn't bother me. I haaaate tidying, don't mind cleaning (except vacuuming which is dull and results in…
if you think Austrians are strict on times and places you should go to the German speaking part of Switzerland. We always thought of Austria as our slightly mad party neighbours lol XD and yeah, same in Switzerland: nudity in the correct place is fine. Nudity randomly? They will probably just think you are a crazy…
Haha yeah I know. I think walking is really good for you if you do a lot of it a lot (if that makes sense) because it's easy on your joints and, if you go cross country, will get your heart rate up to a sustainable level to encourage fat burning. I do not have time for that though lol
I think it depends how much you walk.
I'm not on any birth control and hell if I can remember the exact date of my last period. I track it on my phone but is this something people remember? I know it was roughly a month ago due to epic spicy food cravings though lol
peh, stupid people. I can't sleep well at all without my boyfriend. He snores and he is a broken radiator with the heat he gives off, but he is my noisy hot water bottle.
I think mens razors are better because they are designed for more sensitive skin, thus they don't rip up your legs. Cheap razors are the fucking worst though. The woooorst. Cuts everywhere *shudder* also, shaving cream is bollocks. Conditioner on your legs works way better lol
Dude...this is so dumb. The amount of fucking news stories on this, these people should know about these things. People are idiots, and I have no sympathy for them. It's like people who let their kids use the iPad and then whine when their kid has spent a bajillion dollars on the Simpsons game or whatever the hell…
I'm British and people dont expect tips in the uk, they are a nice extra (at least, no one I know has ever said tipping is mandatory). Also I don't really do fancy dining—someone brings me food then brings me the bill. When I travel to the usa I tip 20% because of the whole lack of decent wage for servers.
Yep, where we worked tips were pooled and then shared out between everyone working that shift (kitchen staff included). It was a pub though so it wasn't guaranteed that you would serve the table throughout the entire meal (you might take the order at the bar, then someone else would bring out the food, then someone…
Do you have to tip on beer in the US?! I can understand on cocktails—mixing a good cocktail is an art. But beer? You open the bottle or you pull a pint—it's not hard. I've worked in a pub and serving drinks is easy (I didn't do anything fancy like recommend wine or mix cocktails—I just poured drinks into glasses).
