He and Jerry Seinfeld should do a car show. Maybe add a third guy. They could review cars, do challenges, road trips, etc. But what would you call it...

After reading my post I realized I wanted to continue to rant. TGUSA has so much potential. I don't even mind the hosts. Tanner knows more about cars than any of the original TG guys and Rut is genuinely funny. I could do without Adam and replace him with another notable car nut, but he's not the worst thing on TV. I

What about the remix to Ignition?

three fighting kids in the back? Nothing gets solved here, fun as it is.

Frank Profera has spent six years making his Lotus go faster, stop shorter, and corner harder. Though it only has to move around 2,150 lbs, Frank's Lotus makes 680 wheel horsepower with a twin-charged 1.8L engine; giving it a better power-to-weight ratio than Mario Andretti's Formula One Lotus.

(Full Disclosure: I own a Miata and I'm a huge fanboy. Also I'll be attending the Miata launch in Monterey this week and gahhhhhhhhhh I'm excited. This post is full of bias. So much bias.)

I saw this happen. It happened coming out of turn 7. Turn 7 is a 90 that follows turn 6 which is also a 90. Speed coming into the turn was not a factor. The driver nailed it coming out of 7, the back end came out from behind and the car made an arc into the woods on the left hand side of the track, slamming the

WTF?! Now I'm pissed. I can see a car coming away from you, but on the opening lap? Get real. There is no excuse for that. None.

I'm very saddened by this. My introduction to high performance driving was at a PCA Potomac clinic on the Jefferson Circuit. Needless to say, a very controlled environment. The respect, appreciation and admiration I have for my many excellent instructors from that point forward is hard to convey... amazing people,

Unless they're an advanced driver, most are just trying to turn consistent laps. Until drivers can consistently run within a second on each lap, most HPDE drivers won't be looking at shaving tenths...and any driver with an instructor in their car at the last session of the day isn't likely to be an advanced driver

This happened at Hyperfest, an annual event that allows ANYONE with $50 and a semi-safe vehicle out on a CROWDED track with an instructor. Injuries and crashes have happened numerous times at this event in the past, once to a friend I know personally. Because it's not a "standard" HPDE, you get a bunch of boy racers

What's really terrifying right now for my friends and me is that we all race or raced at Summit, and we all know the BSR instructors, and no one is letting the name out yet. We lost one a couple years ago as well, so this really hits home again. It's a big family at BSR and Summit Point. R.I.P.

I've seen someone die at Road Atlanta. It can happen anywhere, especially for people tracking completely stock cars with no additional safety equipment. I won't run in a car unless it at least has racing seats and belts.

what they need to do is drop in the 2.0 ecoboost with the same power as the focus ST + the 6spd manual and call it the "SVT Fusion"

I'm amazed it took them five games and four dozen Miatas to finally make a Mazda Cup car... That's pretty much the foundation of grass roots racing.

Wow I get to bust this out again, and more relevant this time:

Scott Beliveau!

Seriously. Weld the diff if it's going to be strictly on track, or go get a locker. You''ll also probably want a nice seat (and maybe a steering wheel) since the stock Volvo stuff is junk for any kind of performance driving. Otherwise... hoon away man!
