the beauty of enduro is unless the car in front is holding you up enough to allow a pack to get away, you can stalk them into a mistake or bait them "showing" the same move for a few laps, and backing out of it, so that they change line or braking to defend it, then pass via a counter to what you've baited them into

it takes about 8 events to learn, but overtaking can almost always wait.

Fast? not really. Lightweight? there were lighter cars at the time. Practical? Yes it was a hatch, but it's a two door and the first step in practical is getting one to a destination without a detour to the mechanic. Noise? Absolutely superb. Engaging to drive? Enough so that when combined with the noise you don't
