And it looks like the pilots only took a strike vote. This is just an authorization from the pilots to the union that gives the go-ahead to strike if they get to that point in the negotiation process. I think you have your facts confused. I suggest you read Flying the Line.

There's not an argument to take the compensation for the executives and divide it up between the pilots. The argument is that Allegiant has monstrous profit margins but they are unwilling to reinvest the money into scheduling, sick leave, airplanes, training and maintenance while still giving executives very generous

To which I would add: robotic planes could also be potentially hacked. Unless a completely failsafe system is developed, there' a chance that someone could disrupt functioning and/or assume control externally, and take down the plane. It's an incredibly frightening prospect.

I would argue trains travel in one dimension, speed. You don't really control the route, just when it gets there. But airplanes are into the 4th dimension and it gets a lot more complex.

Some say he naturally faces magnetic north, and that all his legs are hydraulic.

But their pollution numbers are horrible, especially overseas.

It's odd Bar Refaeli would say that from an attractiveness or a poise standpoint.

Cupping.

Nevermind, looked it up and it's -900 wings with raked wingtips on a -800 body. More or less.

Is that a new wing compared to a 737 or just new wingtips?

No I mean there might be a difference in the quality of batteries as in age of the battery and number of cycles on the battery.

One problem is gas stations have gas that is unnoticeably different in quality while the quality and range of a swapped battery will have a lot variability.

Biodegradable plastics are asinine. Anything you throw away goes to a landfill and anything that goes in a landfill gets mummified. How in the hell is a biodegradable object going to biodegrade while it's in an environment that's going to preserve it for thousands of years.

The US is in the stone ages when it comes to this. From first hand knowledge I know it's been tried. The US now insists college grads go in with 1000 hrs when Europe has been using a structured system that puts people with 200 hrs into a 737, etc. Almost 100% pilots go through this system but apparently it's not safe

Imagine the dollar amount spent on the DoD instead used for education and mental health. But it would probably be viewed as too socialist or communist instead of capitalist.

It looks like Honda put some money into Indy, not enough in F1 and just the right amount in MotoGP. Hopefully F1 will steal MotoGP's porridge.

We could have gone to Mars using the DoD budget over the last 30 years. Either use is a huge waste of money.

You can't spell Australia without Schwarzenegger.
