By chance I just test drove a FRS with a TRD package. The package added a lot, some different springs, exhaust, interior changes and badges but you pay for it. Luckily I drove a standard version back to back, but even if the TRD wasn't yellow I would have been hard pressed to justify the $5k extra without an increase

Unless it's a FRS ;(

Zero? ZERO deaths in one year in multiple models??? Waaaahhh?

He's going to regret this.

It's the same argument I use against a 15 yr home loan vs a 30, flexibility.

So will be like the first R32 and Mazdaspeed6 and be unusually slow? The overall reliability of Fords is also another question.

I see some of the Mercedes box fish.

The interior is probably the closest thing to the original and was one of the hallmarks of the NSX. So I'm sure they're actually proud of/happy with it.

That sucks. I hope it wasn't a new car.

There's also profit coming from the factory to the dealer. And when you add on trim levels and "accessories" there's even more profit. What is that music in the first video???

My point is there's more than $1000 profit in the sticker price.

I was expecting $3.50

Less than $1000 markup on a $30,000 vehicle? Do you mean less than $1000 over sticker? Let me guess, you're a car salesman.

I don't know what the going price is for a new Corolla but I do think car prices in general are ridiculously relative. I get upset when I 'overpay' on Amazon because the price dropped $5 a few weeks after I bought something but then when you go on to buying a car a few thousand here or there ends up being a small

What's wrong with $20k (after tax) on a Corolla? Are you saying you don't like it, they didn't negotiate, a new econo car's not worth $20k or they got too high a trim? Just curious, even though I wouldn't do it for some of those reasons, it doesn't seem like the dumbest new car to buy.
