I’m sorta okay with a tiebreak option mid-tournament, but not to win the championship. A two game victory should be necessary to lift the trophy.

I could say the same about Rickey Henderson and Nolan Ryan, and they got the ‘Babe Ruth didn’t get everyone’s vote’ treatment. (There were others who came closer to 100%, but those two stick out to me as the greatest statistical anomalies of their eras.
