I think you mistyped best!

Just another asshole who thinks “free speech” includes the right to not be criticized for being an asshole.

Gentlemen, gentlemen! I suggest you take this outside and settle it by slapping each other with a trout.

I’m not sure we needed a first season, let alone a second.

I saw a preview and Bay’s right. There are whole scenes where Jake Gyllenhaal doesn’t have any fur on his hands.

I can’t believe I sat through a three-hour-long My Chemical Romance video.

Great! Just the other day I was saying that the 0nly things missing from my favorite show of all time were hours of unnecessarily graphic violence towards women and a torrent of racial epithets!

I have been debating this in my head for the past ten days. Yours is exactly the thoughtful analysis I was hoping for.

Reacher. They are both big, competent fighters, and both are intelligent (though Reacher is probably smarter). Peacemaker’s immaturity and fragile ego, however, is something Reacher would be able to immediately see and exploit. He’d either distract Peacemaker, lead him to make a mistake out of bravado, or even simply

For those who have watched both series (not the terrible Tom Cruise iteration):

This is closest I’ve come to reporting a comment for harassment, tbh.

Agree. I, too, am an idiot.

I can only think of folks who tanked their careers by turning into right-wing shitbags

Can you name one time when going woke has meant going broke?

You know who else is pretty exhausting? John Oliver. Samantha Bee. Amber Ruffin. Stephen Colbert.

I quite liked The Accountant. It was the kind of mid-tier mid-budget action movie you’d see in the 90s and it worked for me.

Bingo. I’m fully vaccinate and fully mask-wearing, and I just finished my quarantine. Somehow, I got one of those nifty “breakthrough” cases that all the kids are talking about. It was not fun. As much as I would absolutely love to see this on a big screen, I can watch it at home, thank you very much.

Why does God keep taunting us by infecting the worst among us and then letting them recover through their wealth?

Part of your problem with the “devolution” has to do with having no audience, I think. With a live audience, he, of course, had to be more funny. The show took into account laugh breaks, etc. Alone, he has a lot of time to fill without laugh breaks. Don’t worry, when he gets back to a studio audience it’ll be the show

I was a late-comer to the John Oliver show and, try as I might, I can’t find anything about it to like. He enjoys comparing people to loud toddlers but he kind of sounds like one himself.
