I missed the first 90 minutes or so of prime time last night and the only thing I saw of the decathlon was the hurdles and 1 throw of the discus by Eaton. Then, 5 seconds later, they're on the medals stand.

What is infuriating about nbcolympics.com is, once an event has concluded, if it is going to be re-aired in primetime, you can't watch the replay online.

I love a good story about the history of chronometers as much as the next guy but primetime olympic coverage is definitely not the place for it.
