He didn’t help? I remember when MGS4 came out, he basically busted his ass going out there with Kojima promoted the game. He goes out of his way to do live action MGS skits for game award shows and you can clearly see he loves doing the voice of Solid Snake/Big Boss. The simple fact is, David is as big of a part in

But then you realize that (SPOILERS)...

But then he goes on to use Hayter as Big Boss in ALL the portable handheld games and visual graphic novels. For someone that didn’t want Hayter from the get go he really milked Hayter for all he was worth. Yeah, string him along until you find the big name actor you have wet dreams about. Is it hard to think that

The fact that there were subsequent handheld games with Hayter as Big Boss also it just boggles the mind to replace him at all.

Yeah, sure, I can believe Sutherland being the fake Snake (it’s hard to mimic voices I guess) but then why wasn’t the real Snake voiced by Hayter? I just can’t believe Big Boss/Snake’s voice can change so dramatically from MGS3 to MGS5.

I don’t know about that, some could say the character came alive when Hayter took helm of the voice. There wouldn’t be such a backlash with MGSV if Snake’s voice actor wasn’t so beloved.

I remember watching a live stream of Stefanie Joosten (the model for Quiet) playing MGSV and she got to the part where she basically saw Quiet in the game. I find it funny that everyone is disgusted by the overly sexualization of Quiet yet Stefanie talked about how she loved everything about the character. Maybe it’s

I wish they’d make more alternative non-main story movies. Nothing I’d love to see more than Thomas Wayne as Batman or Martha as the Joker.

An actual movie? I doubt it though.

Aggressive seems to also mean garbage.

I’m sure they purposely set her up to look like the bigger badass in the movie because of how limited her time on screen was. I still think the more technical fighting of Batman beats anything in this film.

It’s not scapegoating when he deserves it. Most of his films are a sloppy mess. I knew he was a hack director when he finally decided to make his own movie (meaning an original concept with no already established characters or stories) with Sucker Punch which he wrote, produce and directed and that ultimately showed

I don’t even think Frank Miller cares about this film. He hasn’t liked any of the Batmans. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t like this one.

I’m with you that Batman is superior to Superman but I remember that one time Superman was so angry at Joker he basically just punched his hand through Joker’s chest and Batman looking on in surprise. That moment was a Superman did want Batman can’t moment.

Exactly, in BvS (spoilers) he punched Doomsday into space and then fought him in an uninhibited island in the middle of the bay.

I’d say he’s super talented if he can pull off playing the same character in everything he’s in. Usually people like that are thrown out of the business by now. He’s still riding high with his way of acting. Him and Michael Cera.

You don’t remember that scene in his jet where he rained down a path of bullets right into a bunch of guys on the back of pickup trucks firing at him? They even stayed with that shot until you knew those guys were goners. I’m pretty sure one of those giant bullets from his jet’s cannon killed those guys. If not, I’m

To extend to that comment, he can make a semi-coherent movie out of an already established brand/franchise (300, Watchmen, BvS, Superman, Dawn of the Dead) but you leave him to do his own thing and it’s absolute trash (Sucker Punch). I never want to see him make his own created movie again.

But Michael Bay does take himself seriously.
