It can understandably be a sensitive issue to discuss, so online probably isn’t the best place to do so.

Forget the spelling and rename it as “Her 2: THE RECKONING”
So, separate but equal, then?
Yes, but always worth pointing out that the sex divide isn’t completely binary either. Hermaphrodites exist.
Those are still binary examples, FWIW, just roles where the gender doesn’t match the performer’s.
Eh, it’s AV Club. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
So, separate but equal, then?
“Gender is spectrum” does not imply an even three way split. It merely states the truth that, well, gender is a spectrum. Even if most people identify as solely as a man or woman, there are those who fall in between in many varying ways.
People complaining about this are ignoring that this is as much about future-proofing as it is about inclusion.
I think people are worried about men winning both awards.
“And the winner of Best Other…”
She didn’t “share” it. They were talking about a rumor. It’s not as if Perry was SA’d and told Kesha who spilled it to her friend. Luke is the one who “shared” it with the world.
Sounds like this all isn’t for you. Which is fine. Not everything is for everyone. But this shit is cool and fun rap. It’s a good thing both these dudes are in their late 30's; there’s no chance this goes further than diss records. Rap needs this. Rap doesn’t need more young rappers getting killed over beef.
Yes! My favorite storylines were the lighthearted ones, like Allison’s run for school board, and all the hilarity that ensued from them switching places. And I absolutely hated the whole arc involving the male clones, both because the actor cast to play them was the opposite of Maslany, just forgettable and dour and…
You nailed it. Maslany made the series work, and it was maddening how they tried to be too smart by half with all the conspiracies and machinations, when the series was at its best when it was just about the various incarnations Maslany played, and how they interacted. I find myself imagining what kind of series we…
I once again recommend the podcast series if anyone is really clamoring for more Orphan Black. Tatiana narrates the first season and for the second season nearly the entire cast comes back. It’s as good as the series if not better.
I watched this through nefarious means when it was released in Australia eight months ago. It was fine but really lacked Tatiana’s performance from the original. I wonder how well this will do in the ratings. I feel like a lot of people that might be interested in it probably have already seen it. I wonder why this…
I mostly considered him “that loudmouth New York real estate guy,” but when he went all-in on birtherism around 2012 it became pretty clear what a sack of shit he is.
I can’t be alone in having a neutral opinion on Trump before he ran for office. I didn’t know about his dad or his own slum lord origins, or the ad he took out against the Central Park 5. He was just the dude with the “You’re fired!” catchphrase to me (and I was vaguely aware he’d been married several times).
I just feel it’s an odd usage of the word “allege”.
