Big time, especially considering that big ships running on bunker oil are some of the biggest polluters on earth. This sets a great precedent.
Absolutely, it’s a step in the right direction. A 10% reduction in emissions is nothing to scoff at.

If you rent something to someone, you should anticipate those people are not going to be of the highest quality at least some of the time. Unless you vet your customers very well, which is expensive, this is going to happen. You build those customers into the cost of rental because they are inevitable.
My trust issues run waaay too deep to ever consider putting my car on Turo, or using Turo from the renter side. People who use this site might as well be aliens to me.
The insurance industry, the AMA and their armies of lobbyists are the problem.
