I haven’t been following the Fauxrarri market. What’s the going rate on a complete “real” McBurnie? Last I knew they had stagnated in the mid $20k range for a couple of decades.

Was at one point asking 80K for this??!! For that alone the seller can get bent.
I have to guess she knew women from his country didn’t drive
You’re really pretending this is all more complicated that it is.
The problem is because it’s a Jeep and not a Dodge or Ram.
Every other automaker has clear brand hierarchy for just this sort of problem. For every Sequoia and 4Runner there’s a Lexus GX and LX. For every Excursion there’s a Navigator. GM even has three tiers, with the Tahoe/Suburban —> Yukon/YukonXL —> Escalade. This…
I love the image of the Saudi p*ssing his pajamas while she’s behind the wheel.
Bless her heart... I was really starting to think she would outlive us all.
the queen in her Mondeo
I was thinking a couple of old truck chassis welded together. Didn’t do the overlap very well in the middle to actually give it strength!
That bridge looked like it was made of left over scaffolding and a piece of sheet metal from a job site, maybe I am expecting too much from the Congo, but that hardly looked safe to begin with, let alone with more than 3 people on it. That guys suit probably cost more than the bridge.
You can’t just cut the load bearing ribbon!
Making POWs build the bridge was a bad idea.
And here I was, thinking that “making less-expensive cars” would be a better way to attract younger buyers, but I guess that’s why I’ll never be a C-suite executive.
When I think of Volvo, I think of cars that are more expensive than the ones I’m usually cross-shopping, but apparently the XC60 starts in the mid $40s, which - don’t get me wrong - still way too rich for my blood, but actually right in line with the average car price.
Bottas is such a likable driver. The last 2 races for him have been rough, but I hope he closes out the season strong. He seems to be a great mentor to Zhou as well.
100kph/62mph is kinda slow for a wide open hiway
And 600 energy consuming compressors fired off today, needlessly waiting energy to slightly delay vehicles. My guess is that more than a few of them came on roadside assistance trucks.
It is amazing the way corporations have managed to almost completely shift the responsibility for climate change from themselves to private individuals.
It just seems so misguided too. Yes, I wish people chose more efficient means of transportation, but I also recognize that even if everyone chose the most efficient option available to them, that would still be pretty small beans in the grand scheme of things.
An utterly fantastic, big-brained way of winning people to your cause is to fuck with their private property.
