Yes, the medium may have a problem. And that problem is -to some extent - exacerbated by an under-representation in the employment ranks of the group being marginalized.

It’s not OK to make racist caricatures or insult another race. It’s also not reasonable to expect a group made up primarily of white males to always accurately represent what it’s like to be someone that is not a white male.
