She is an absolute treasure. Her Disney+ series wasn’t the strongest entertainment ever created, but her characterization of Kamala was really a joy. And watching The Marvels trailer, I am definitely going to go pay full price at the theater almost exclusively because of her.
My mom has no clue what’s going on in any of these movies but she likes to go see them for the action and funny bits. Extensive knowledge of backstory is in no way necessary to enjoy them.
