He's a great artist but he can't draw cool armored suits or mecha type stuff.
haha man, that's so bad. I think it wasn't until the 90's when American comics started getting good artists who could draw cool mech/armor suits. This is why that dopey-looking "bendy metal" became so popular in comics. Because it was easy to draw and it didn't take much work to say "This is a robotic part".
The theme is actually cool looking. But I don't like the style they went with for the metal parts. They should have gone more mecha-like. More shapely pieces, in terms of what you saw on the mech in District 9.
The problem with this comparison there is that MAH'KEE MAH'K isn't a good actor.
