In Jenkins recent Conan interview. She mentioned this is the movie she's been wanting to make for years. Apparently it's been in the works since 2005 which is crazy. But she said she's always wanted to do a Wonder Woman movie. Specifically because she was surprised there hasn't been one made for her yet.

I'm sure some have spoken about it but one of the things I appreciated the most about Wonder Woman was the chemistry between characters. Scenes like the boat and the town square dance scene. Diana and Steve felt like genuine people going through the motions. Steve felt more than just an accessory to the lead…
