Hey I’m all for Rob Reiner’s efforts to make a difference. This is definitely a case of not only doing good, but being seen doing good. Hopefully it inspires other....celebrities and influencers and people with money and power.

Agreed. I’m not suggesting that they lecture people. Only that they be seen to be engaged and by their actions promoting the common good. Like getting out the vote. You are not shaming people for how they vote, rather you are helping to ensure that EVERYONE gets the right to vote.

Considering how rich white celebrities are such influencers, one would think that they would be working really hard to promote the Dems and getting out the vote. I mean more than just throwing a few lines out there in an acceptance speech about god blessing democracy or whatever.

So what to look forward to.... what I remember most clearly from 2016 was Trump’s constant sniffing (like he just couldn’t get quite enough oxygen in through his nose) and his wandering the stage and looming over Hillary while she was speaking. I look forward to him trying that strategy with Biden.
