I’m taking this advice, thanks.
I’m taking this advice, thanks.
I never used predictive text in English, but at least in Chinese (where suggestions are the default and a necessity) it was kind of a thing. Like if you typed gou the first suggestion was “狗”, which means dog, and the second suggestion is “🐶”.
I’m in the same situation - nothing will make it work with my ATT Iphone 6.
duuuumb
I’m actually a robot
I swear, every time I open a LifeHacker article and think “Oh shoot, this one is particularly excellent/unique/useful!”, it was written by you. I feel like a groupie at this point. Thanks for doin what you do so well! :)
That’s not going to be possible because audio apps are not among the types supported by the new SiriKit APIs. Maybe next year with iOS 11 :/
I used Siri to pay my Discover credit card bill earlier today. What a time to be alive.
I didn’t understand this when they first announced it, and I still don’t. Make hangouts better, not superfluous. Having this new messaging app that is phone only and tied to your phone but NOT MMS/SMS, and then having hangouts which is phone and desktop.... it’s ridiculous. Why can’t Google figure this out? Whatever…
http://www.gasbuddy.com/TripCostCalcul… has most of those features, and it calculates the stops with the lowest gas prices. It would be a cool thing to integrate with Google Maps.
This sounds cool, but it would probably be better to have Google maps able to get data from the OBD system somehow. Mileage varies too much in different driving conditions.
That is very interesting. I haven’t given any attention to the exact number of promoted vs organic tweets, but you can be sure I will now.
Also, don’t forget that TweetBot also allows you to mute entire apps... i.e.: untappd, or other apps that post to twitter for you.
Good comparison @kingthor. One element that should be noted as well is that Tweetbot is not accessible to users who use Voice Over, and the developer has not acknowledged requests in any of the 4 versions of the app. While this might sound like a niche use-case, this is the most popular [paid] Twitter client for iOS &…
Pretty sweet! I just wish it had iMessage integration. It’s built in Electron, which is seeming like a really cool platform.
You clearly have never worked IT support and seen the (lack of) competency that some people have
I had it too and people kept asking me what I was using. Works quite well.
Me, too! Get a white noise app for your phone - it’s a game changer, especially when you can’t get the g.d. air conditioner fan to stay on no matter what you do.
I always set my thermostat to constant fan when I'm in a hotel. The white noise drowns out some of the other noises.
I've been using this Greasmonkey script for a while now, automatically has Gmail check pop3 accounts every 8 (or however many you specify) minutes.
