Fair point. I probably should have been more specific in saying I remember the debut of the Dazzler comic some 40-odd years ago (or whenever it was). I haven’t read comic books in about 25 or 30 years so I am not up to speed on who is and isn’t currently top-of-mind in that world.

I’m pretty much convinced that Tomorrowland is a documentary.

FWIW, I loathed the ending of the final book. My memory of reading the book at the time was that it seemed like Collins was basically told by her editors, “Wrap it all up in the next 5 pages or else” and it just all rang wrong to me.

This movie had a Dazzler cameo that almost made the whole thing worth it. And, yes, I am old enough to remember Dazzler.

I use a Springs wrist wallet thingy. Holds my phone, credit card, cash, hotel key, etc. It’s great on vacation for avoiding pickpockets in busy cities where that’s a problem.

Yeah, the iPod Touch was my gateway drug into smartphones. I had a work BlackBerry and the rest of my family wanted more than clam shell phones, so they got Blackberries and I decided instead to get a Touch. It’s been iPhones for everyone ever since.

I’d prefer Chris Pine as Indy to Chris Pratt.

Why would you want to uninstall OneNote? It’s awesome. Absolutely my favourite digital keeper-of-everything.

Apple’s Bedtime feature in the Clock app is also getting an update. While it currently lets you track when you fall asleep/wake up, the new Sleep mode will supposedly track “more extensive” sleep data and could integrate with the Apple Watch. This also tracks with recent reports that Apple has started testing sleep

My wife and I voluntarily took a bump a couple of weeks on a later evening flight out of Vancouver to take an early morning flight instead. The airline gave us transportation to and from the hotel, a hotel room, food vouchers for the hotel and airport, and a large sum of money that actually covered the costs of our

Agreed. The end of Endgame reminded me of the end of Return of the King - a series of epilogues and denouements. It worked just fine.

The best part about that scene was all those characters literally “ran the gauntlet” with the Gauntlet. It was an awesome bit of storytelling that I’m not sure a lot of people picked up on.

Hey, I’m just happy that Thor and I finally have the same physique.

This movie invites you to prominently recall the events of Thor: The Dark World, goddammit! Who’s done that since Thor: The Dark World came out!?

I still have an iPhone 7 and I love TouchID and it works very consistently for me as I used most of my scanning slots to scan the same thumb that I use 99% of the time to unlock my phone. So I would be very happy to have it in future iPhones.

Is it crazy that Anson Mount’s portrayal of Captain Pike is, hands down, my absolute favourite Star Trek captain of all time? The dude was awesome in the role and checked every box I could ever want in a starship captain.

The Enterprise was called last week at the end of the episode. Pike told his communications bridge officer (Brice? Bryce?) to send the Enterprise their coordinates and have them ready to do a full crew compliment transfer (or words to that effect).

Lara bars. I only discovered them a few years ago during a Vegas excursion where my wife and I decided we were tired of traditional granola bars and I grabbed a bunch at the grocery store to try. I literally keep some in my work briefcase as emergency food if I have to work late and I never travel anywhere without at

OK, fair enough. I saw a lot of debate back and forth on whether the trailer was showing those scenes in context, etc. But point taken.

Yes, yes, I know.
