Hey, it’s you’re fault you chose not be born extremely wealthy!

You mean the dealers themselves?
i genuinely hope Toyota does SOMETHING about scalpers on this car. Otherwise its going to fail just like the RS, or have a giant black mark on its legacy like the C8 corvette. 60k Mid engined corvette? nah, 100k.
And it begins.
I don’t believe there’s 20 million people that want a Tesla. Other automakers are making all electric cars way more compelling.
Toyota is reached king of the hill by over-engineering cars in the 80s. Then doubled down on that over-engineering in the 90s, cementing its reputation across the entire world for decades to come. Toyota easily has the largest, and longest lasting brand loyalty out of any car maker today, because they made reliable,…
Someone explain this to me. I’ve done a lot of camping. I’ve lived in a van. I’ve toured and traveled and overlanded, at times paid for it.
I understand how things are more expensive now, but these glorified roof top tents (and the regular roof top tents) are getting absurd. 3 years ago people would laugh you out of the room for a $3500 RTT, now that’s “affordable”. $7700 for an aluminum frame and a tent? It’s not that I don’t doubt that it’s nice, well…
Think of it as a house that you can drive to and on different beaches.

I have never had any brand or dealer loyalty. Never bought from the same dealer twice, and have owned cars from all kinds of different manufactures. I always shop the best price online for the car that meets my needs at that time.
Hopefully this weeds out some shitty dealers. The subprime auto loan crisis will be brutal.
Consumers are finally getting the hint and reacting. Recession is going to fuck dealerships and I can’t wait.
For everyone bashing on Rivian for complaining here: They would get this tax benefit for their consumers as things are now. The new legislation would remove the benefit for them going forward. They’ve counted on this benefit as a part of their model/success/etc...
I’m not saying they should or shouldn’t get this, or…
god these look awful
God... not only are they stupid, but the holes they cut look like they’d come out of a low budget local exhaust shop that also happens to be the owner’s rent home.
